Wills and Executries
It is important that all adults make a Will. If you die “intestate” (without a valid Will) matters can become very complicated and the expense of administration of an estate increases, as a result of having to Petition the Sheriff Court for the appointment of an Executor, and in most cases, having to obtain a Bond of Caution from an insurance company.
Making a Will is usually a fairly simple process and is relatively inexpensive. It will also give you the peace of mind of knowing that your affairs will be taken care of in accordance with your wishes.
When you lose a loved one it is important that you can put your trust in the Solicitors administering the estate to ensure matters are handled in an efficient and sympathetic manner. The Solicitors at Hilland McNulty have many years’ experience in obtaining Confirmation and completing the administration of estates in accordance with the terms of the Will, in a timely fashion with the minimum of fuss.
